Compass Chiropractic accepts most major health insurances in the Midlothian area including Anthem, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Medicare. Most policies do cover chiropractic care, but with many plans raising co-pay and co-insurance amounts, our office visit costs are similar to most co-pay amounts. In other words, it may cost you more to use your insurance than to pay out of pocket.
Since coverage varies widely please call us or stop in and we can verify and explain your coverage prior to starting care. To avoid undue confusion, we strongly encourage our patients to be proactive and informed about their health insurance policy by clicking the links below.

If you do not have health insurance or your policy has no chiropractic benefits, don't worry. Your care will be identical care to those using insurance benefits and there is often no significant difference in cost. Nearly half of our patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely affordable and cost-effective. We make every effort to work with your budget and offer payment plans that allow you to get the care you need. The last thing we want is for you to wait for a crisis. At Compass Chiropractic, we believe a small investment of your time and money toward your most important asset, your health, will be far less time consuming and expensive than trying to recover it.
What to Expect
First Visit: begins by meeting with Dr. McDade for a brief consultation. He will review your case and answer your questions before proceeding. A thorough exam will be conducted to determine how we can help you. If X-rays are needed, we will take them on-site and a follow up visit will be scheduled to review them.
Second Visit: This is where you will receive a summary of the doctor's exam and X-ray findings. We pride ourselves on giving you an adequate explanation of your problem. Dr. McDade will recommend a plan of care tailored to your case and adjust your spine.
